Fundraisers

Each year, The Kiwanis Club of Minisink Valley plans several fundraisers. 100% of the money raised from these events goes back into the community. We thank you for all of your support throughout the year. It is because of your generous support, that we are able to help so many people in our community. Below are the fundraisers that we plan each year.

Chicken BBQ

Our club caters several chicken barbecues each year. Our 50+ year old recipe is renowned all over the county. We host our annual barbecue in May.

This year, our chicken Barbecue will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Tickets are $15/ each and can be purchased from any Minisink Kiwanis member.

For a nominal fee, we also hire out our services several times a year.

Pancake Day

Normally held the third Saturday of January. Along with our delicious pancakes, we offer eggs (any style) homemade sausage, homemade applesauce, local maple syrup, coffee, tea and juice. On average, we serve over 1,200 people.

We took a break from Pancake day in 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.

We returned to tradition on Saturday January 21, 2023.
